Dr. Amanda Toye is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology with a Subspecialty Certification in Pain Medicine. She joins CPS after five years of private practice experience at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas Texas. Dr. Toye completed an Interventional Pain Management fellowship at Carolinas Pain Institute at Wake Forest University under the direction of Dr. Richard Rauck, an internationally-regarded educator in pain management. Before that, Dr. Toye completed her internship and residency in Anesthesiology at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Toye graduated medical school at Oklahoma University College of Medicine after graduating magna cum laude from Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in Biochemistry. She utilizes an individual approach to each patient’s pain. She specializes in helping patients with pain including complex regional pain syndrome, neuropathic pain, autoimmune/inflammatory pain and myofascial pain. Dr. Toye believes in treatments and therapies which help improve function and employ cognitive behavioral therapy to help treat the whole patient.
